Today’s single-modality strength session is an undulating sequence of Squat Cleans. The 2s are intended to be heavy. The 4s are intended to be moderate. The intention is to go back and forth between a heavy stimulus, regroup, and then feel physically—and in turn, mentally—confident, by hitting the 4s right after. By doing this, we intermix CNS taxation and then recovery.
Reps in today’s workout do not need to be performed as touch and go for the doubles, but should be for most of the 4s.
